Who told you that Saint-Petersburg is not bicycle friendly? We are going to ruin this stereotype! This two wheel transport is becoming more and more popular the recent years and the appearence of bike tours was just a matter of time. It's a golden mean between bus and walk: you're pretty fast and flexible when moving around the city and at last it's a way to keep fit while listening to exciting stories and enjoying marvelous views of Saint-P!
During two hours you'll be plunged into kaleidoscope of history and modern times; you'll see the most remarkable tourist attractions (St. Isaac Cathedral, Palace Square, Admiralty, Peter and Paul's Fortress, Mars Field and Church of the Savior on Blood) as well as curiosities not mentioned in guide-books. You'll know not only general historical facts, but also some special features of modern life in Russia and Saint-Petersburg in general. More over, the tour has an extreem part: to be honest not all drivers are polite and you'll learn how to cope with it.
For this tour you need to have a bike or rent it for 200-300 rub (price of the tour does not include rent, dont forget to have a document as a deposit for a bike)

Spb Bike Tour - customer reviews

Alena showed me around St Perersburg on my first full day in the city. The bicycle tour was a great way to start my trip. I enjoyed seeing the "tragic triangle" and some other more unusual sites as well as the main tourist attractions. It was nice to have a break from walking and I felt safe with Alena guiding me around the city.
