I'd like to offer you
To look into the past,
To share the present, and
To feel the beauty of nature
while visiting two countryside villages: Repino and Komarovo.
From the city center we'll take a comfortable train and after 40 minutes will be in a countryside. It's Repino.
Then after 15 minutes of walking we will reach a unique historical and architectural monument, a place where famous Russian artist Ilya Repin lived and worked. His mansion is now turned into a museum.
After that I'd like to offer you a walk along the sea coast and enjoy adorable seascapes.
if you'd like — we can have a picknick on the shore, or have a lunch in a cafe nearby.
We'll continue our walk to the next village which is close by — Komarovo. There, we'll see charming old Finnish Cottages and a famous cemetery where many Russian poets and artists are buried: for example, Anna Akhmatova and Sergei Kurehin.
Also, we will be able to enjoy a Russian hospitality in one of the local houses having a cup of tea from Russian samovar.
The cost of the excursion includes a cost of the train ticket (150 rub) and the museum entrance ( 100 rub ), but does not include the cost of lunch ( which is approx. 200-500 roubles )
|Regular ticket||900 ₽||per person|
