Secrets the Tsar's Village
This tour is dedicated to the 300 years long history of Romanov's summer residence. Any weather we enjoy the Nature and atmosphere in Tsar's Village learning interesting facts about life and fate of the Imperors of Russia. Expeirienced guide, knowing this area and museums from within, uses the best teaching methods of edutainment (education+intertainment), including her own investigations. That makes you interested and leave clear recall.
During the walk you will discover places, connected with the family of the last russian Imperor: the cathedral, where Nicolas II prayed, the hospital, where his daughters worked as dressers (nurses), secret children's places, the palace where the family spent its best years and where they were arrested. Using rare photos from archives we'll compare today's Tsar's Village with it's shape 100 years ago.
Masterpieces of architecture from baroque and classicism to the neo-gothic an russian style and two famous gardens — french-styled (regular) Catherin's garden and romantic english-slyled Alexander's Garden will facsinate you.
During the walk we can organise a small picnic.
We meet at the metro station "Moskovskaya" near Lenin's monument.

Reviews of other tours by Anna
My husband and I very much enjoyed our tour with Anna, our lovely guide for a summer evening. She took us to three vegetarian/vegan restaurants, and identified others on our map. It was a great tour to take at the beginning of our St. Petersburg travels, as we could then return to them (many times!) over the rest of the week. It was a scenic walk around the city, with some bits of history and some lovely souvenirs and carved produce as a parting gift. We highly recommend booking this tour!over 3 years ago
