After your transfer from Marmaris, admire the amazing rock tombs of the Kavn kings along the coast. Kavn, founded around the 9th century BC on the border of the kingdom of Lycia, became an important Carian city around 400 BC, and its culture absorbed features of both kingdoms. The tombs were created for kings and other influential citizens and were filled with food, money, jewelry and other valuables.
Admire the Dalyan Canal, which stretches from Lake Köyceğiz to the beach shaped like a peninsula. As you know, the beach is protected for the preservation of endangered species: sea turtles (Caretta Caretta), which lay their eggs in the sand, and blue crabs. For this reason, it is closed to visitors from May to September.
